Uzo Oshogwe

Uzo Oshogwe is a Nigerian business executive and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Hotels Plc, one of Africa’s leading hospitality companies. She was appointed to the role in December 2024, succeeding Dupe Olusola at the conclusion of her tenure.

Oshogwe brings extensive leadership experience spanning real estate, consulting, and corporate strategy. Prior to joining Transcorp Hotels, she served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Afriland Properties Plc from its inception in 2013, where she led the company’s growth into a major player in property development and facilities management across Nigeria.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Ambrose Alli University and a Master of Science degree in Information Systems Design from the University of Westminster, London. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, Oshogwe is also an alumna of both the Lagos Business School and IESE Business School.

Her early career includes roles with Ford Motors, J. Sainsbury Plc, and Accenture, where she developed deep expertise in systems design, operations, and organizational transformation. She is also a certified Commercial Mediator, known for her collaborative leadership and commitment to operational excellence.
