Naziha Belkeziz is a Moroccan banker and corporate leader who serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) SA. Appointed to the role on 5 November 2024, she became the first woman to lead the banking group. She is also Treasurer and Director at Education for Employment Maroc, reflecting her commitment to advancing youth empowerment and education.
Born in Rabat in 1968, Belkeziz is the daughter of the late Moulay Abdallah Belkeziz, a Moroccan diplomat who served as ambassador to Tunisia and Algeria and held ministerial positions under King Hassan II. She earned her undergraduate degree in Management Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine-PSL, a graduate degree in Accounting from the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in France, and a doctorate from Hassan II University of Casablanca.
Belkeziz began her banking career in 1992 at Banque Commerciale du Maroc. She later held key strategic positions at Attijariwafa Bank, where she served as Chief Economist and Manager of Marketing Communications. In 2024, she succeeded Mohamed Karim Mounir as CEO of BCP, after serving as Managing Director of the bank’s Risk and Commitment Division.
With more than 20 years of experience in finance and banking, Belkeziz brings a deep understanding of economic development and risk management. Under her leadership, BCP continues to strengthen its role in national economic financing and expand its footprint across 32 countries, with a particular focus on growth in sub-Saharan Africa through its subsidiary Banque Atlantique.
