Charlotte Amanquah is the Regional Head of Commercial Banking for Anglophone West Africa at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI). She is based in Accra, Ghana and oversees commercial banking operations across several markets in the region.
Prior to this regional leadership role, Charlotte served as Head of Commercial Banking at Ecobank Ghana PLC where she was responsible for the growth and profitability of the bank’s commercial-business segment, managing relationships with mid-to-large corporates, regional multinationals and non-bank financial institutions.
A chartered accountant (FCCA) by qualification, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of Ghana.
In her leadership, Amanquah emphasises driving commercial excellence, digital-enabled transaction banking, and regional market integration. She is recognised for building high-performance teams, fostering cross-border client platforms and championing initiatives to expand access to structured financing across the ECOWAS region. Her role highlights Ecobank’s pan-African strategy of commercial-banking scale and regional cluster leadership.
