Bunmi Agagu-Adu is Managing Director of Eterna Industries Limited and Executive Director of ET ERNA PLC, a leading Nigerian energy and lubricants company. She assumed the role of Managing Director in July 2024, after accumulating more than 15 years of experience across legal, commercial and operational leadership within Eterna.
Ms Agagu-Adu’s background is rooted in law and governance: she earned an L.L.B. from University of Nigeria, Nsukka, completed the Barrister-at-Law (B.L.) qualification at the Nigerian Law School and obtained a Master of Science in Corporate Governance from Leeds Beckett University. She is also an Associate of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ACIS) in the UK.
Over the years she has held pivotal roles at Eterna including Head of Real Estate & Non-Fuels Revenue, General Manager Lubricants & Gas, and Company Secretary & Legal Adviser.
In her current capacity, Bunmi leads the company’s manufacturing, sales and marketing of locally blended lubricants and import distribution of premium brands. She is recognised for her strategic mindset, strong legal-commercial acumen, focus on organisational transformation and inclusive leadership.
Her appointment underscores the growing importance of combining legal governance with commercial execution when steering growth in Nigeria’s energy and industrial landscape.
