Agness Jazza is a Malawian business leader and banking executive who serves as the Chief Executive Officer of First Capital Bank Malawi. With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s growth, innovation, and operational excellence within Malawi’s dynamic business environment.

Jazza began her career at First Capital Bank immediately after completing her undergraduate studies, steadily progressing through a range of leadership roles across key divisions. Her journey reflects the bank’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and promoting professional development. Over the years, she has been at the center of wholesale banking development, business process rationalization, and the strategic transformation of the institution.

Before her appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Jazza served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, where she oversaw strategic initiatives that strengthened the bank’s position in corporate and retail banking.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA) and is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Stellenbosch University.
