Butši Tladi is currently Chief Executive Officer: Corporate at Alexander Forbes Group Holdings (Alexforbes), and serves as President of the Financial Intermediaries Association of Southern Africa (FIA). She brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, of which more than two decades have been in senior leadership roles.
In April 2024 she was elected President of the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (WFII), becoming the first African woman to lead the global intermediary body.
She started her career at Alexander Forbes in the mid-1990s and progressed through roles including Executive: Consulting, where she was responsible for the consulting business across health, retirement and investment divisions. She also serves on the boards of Alexforbes Botswana and Alexforbes Namibia.
Butši holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg.
Her leadership is recognised for advancing the role of insurance intermediaries, engaging in policy submissions around National Health Insurance and competition inquiries, and driving transformation and inclusion in the intermediary sector.
